Great taste but limited variety Jul 27, 2011
I have been to this place numerous times with different groups of people since it a must-visit spot when you visit Chicago. Each time I have tried different cupcakes and almost all of them were quite good.

I recently ordered a birthday cake as well which was a carrot interior with original cheesecake icing. It was very simple in decor but quite delicious. The order process was very simple which was all done over a phone call.

It also is a nice but small place to sit in and eat cupcakes and drink coffee etc. They have these stationery swings which make a cool setting.

I would recommend avoiding rush hours like on weekends and evenings. They are open late on Friday and Saturday.

It is located 3 miles North of downtown Chicago and is well connected by public transport.

Yay Cupcakes! Jun 18, 2011
Great cupcakes in a variety of different flavors! Too many to choose but I haven't been disappointed with any of them so far. The staff is super friendly, and this place is leaps and bounds above chains like Sprinkles and Crumbs.

Best Thing I Ever Ate Sep 21, 2010
OH. MY. GOODNESS. Molly's Cupcakes are AMAZING. Having a hard time making a decision because there are just so many flavors, I ordered The Ron Bennington cupcake, which is one of the greatest combinations ever invented: chocolate and peanut butter. It is a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter filling, topped with chocolate buttercream and crushed peanut butter chips. It is eyes-roll-back-in-your-head delicious and absolutely, without a doubt, the best thing I've ever eaten in my whole entire life.

There is quite a variety of cupcakes at Molly's, making a decision difficult. Flavors like strawberry shortcake, cookee monster, cookies-n-cream, and peanut butter nutella are hard to resist. These are serious cupcakes.

The cool thing about Molly's Cupcakes is that a portion of their profits go to schools in the community. The founder named his bakery after his inspiring third grade teacher who would bake cupcakes for her class. And the people behind the counter are so incredibly nice and willing to help with suggestions and decision making.

The cafe itself is really cool. In addition to the tables, there are swings at the bar to sit in. Plus, there are board games and puzzles for customers to play with.

Molly's is incredible, delectable, and downright amazing. These cupcakes alone are worth the trip to Chicago.
