Mojo's Restaurant
Mojo's Restaurant Reviews
Best Sports Bar in Town! Restaurant, too! Jan 13, 2008
The owners of Mojo’s, took an 80 year old building, that at one time held a commercial laundry and turned it into a great place to not only watch a ball game, but to eat a meal. Located at the southern end of Brighton’s downtown area, Mojo’s has an open and airy feel to it. This is obviously due to large windows that make up the bottom third of two sides of the building. There is outdoor seating that attracts the crowds when the weather is good, and a heater outside to keep the smokers warm, while upholding the Colorado non-smoking laws.
The bartenders are friendly and keep up with the crowd, both in banter and drink orders. The restaurant’s menu is a little on the small size, but they offer a broad selection and the food itself is very good. The prices are high normal, but about what you would expect in a sports bar. The waitstaff is attentive and the owners have recently begun to offer free Wi-Fi. The 18 plasma TVs scattered throughout the restaurant and bar make it easy to see whichever game(s) are on. Ask and they will change the channel for you. There is a game area with pool tables and a few video games. Tournaments and contests are a weekly (almost daily) occurrence and live music is played on the weekends. This a great place to hang with the guys after softball, watch the big game, or take a date.
