Peace of heaven near crowded Bucharest Sep 04, 2011
Mogoasoaia Palace situated close to Bucharest was built in 1698 -1702 by Constantin Bracoveanu - a famous Romanian Voivode.
The Palace is an architectural monument having the facade dominated by traditional staircase balconies, and by the arcades and columns with capitals, specific to the "Brancovenesc" style.
The Palace is a popular tourist destination with beautiful grounds and gardens. Also the interior of the palace houses a museum and art gallery.
I highly recommend it to spend a lovely day in a quiet and relaxing place, watching the lake, drinking a lemonade or just sitting in the garden and read.
