Great 4 star hotel Jun 12, 2005
Our tour director told us this hotel was only approved if it did not go up more than three stories so all 251 rooms had to be spread over a large area, which made for long corridor walks. But don’t get me wrong, this is a very nice hotel. I understand there were three restaurants but our meals were all in the buffet and they had a wonderful number of things available. You could sit and look out at a lovely garden view and the Avon river as it gently went by. Our room was very clean and had both a hair dryer and pants press. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel was one of the nicest hotels of our tour of the United Kingdom. Spread out over a larger area than most, and with a beautiful view of the river and a wonderful grassy park area to stroll and relax in outside the windows of the buffet dining area. That made for very nice eating. Our room included all of the usual amenities and the staff was helpful, and very pleasant. The food in the buffet style restaurant was better than most and the selection was quite large. I would recommend this hotel highly.
