Miyoshi Vacation Guide
Miyoshi is a small city located in the Hiroshima prefecture with a population of about 60,000 people. It was founded about 50 years ago when many villages and towns were combined to create it. It is about an hour and a bit drive away from the city of Hiroshima. It is an interesting city to visit and makes for a good base to travel to surrounding cities, like Hiroshima, Miyajima and Onomichi. It is a fairly large city but each area feels a bit like a small community, with each little area having its own town centers.

We went out with Tomoko's mom to run some errands, including going to the library, where you had to check your bags before entering! I guess so people don't steal books..? Anywho, we looked around there for a bit before going through the McDonalds drive thru...on the opposite side of the car! Crazy…
