That's what I mean, I would rather not go to a "fancy" type restaurant. I want the authentic Croatian experience, eat local food, meet locals, etc, you know, the little hole in the wall that only locals know about! Those are the best places :) My father was born in Split so I'm looking to reconnect with my roots and would really like an authentic experience. Ok I just said that..you get what I'm saying! So yes please, any help from you would be great :)

Not sure where exactly in Croatia you are from but I'll be visiting Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Zadar, Krka National Park, Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik. Interested in restaurants where I can have the true Croatian food and experience (no touristy places! lol, maybe a good place for a drink, etc. Any advise you can give me would be great! :) Thank you!
