Mix has the best view of the strip in Las Vegas Jan 23, 2009
Unbelievable restaurant! Stunning views of the city from the lounge and dining room, premium service, massive wine selection, best halibut that I have EVER had! I learned that all the fish is flown in daily from exclusive ranchers in Alaska who only fish for this chef. American Kobe beef comes from the Snake River ranchers for this restaurant as well as the best bison steaks.
Elegance from top to bottom~ The chef has other restaurants in Paris, Switzerland, and Monte Carlo. French and American style foods that were "to die for." Well, this day I was getting stressed out cuz I had a 75% chance that the MIX LOUNGE will not be the venue. I was receiving mixed info from different operators. I had a backup plan. I was very sleepy to begin with. It boils down to where are going to be?!?!!? I hate when bartenders pre-mix Jager Bombs and skimp on the Red Bull! The whole point of the drink is to drop the shot glass of Jager into a larger glass of Red Bull and watch the 2 mix, bubble, and fizz before chugging the whole thing as fast… Cherry Nightclub at The Red Rock Casino |

So now they are added to our mix. Total in our little party: 10 people!
We got to go right in and this club, JET, has 3 dance floor/rooms and plays a variety of music. The main floor has a stage with some stripper poles. Good thing that Erin and Mel happened… It’s a go…PARTY AT JET! |

This makes them exciting places to visit as you always face a mix of the familiar and the new.
Another thing though that did strike me this time was not just how the city had changed physically even in the short 2 years since I was last here, but also how much the type of visitor… Overall thoughts and observations on Las Vegas |

The Mix, which is the restaurant at the top of the new Mandalay Bay tower called "The Hotel" is outstanding! With a world-famous chef at the helm this is a place that impresses. Getting onto the elevator and skyrocketing to the top floor… Don't Miss Mix |
