Mix & Malt Seoul Reviews
Modern quality pub with outdoor area Oct 12, 2014
N37°34.986' E126°59.902' Looking for Lonely Planet and Rough Guide favourite Comfort Zone in August 2014 around five o'clock on a Saturday, we entered a dark and completely empty pub with the name Comfort Zone on a neon sign above the entry on the right spot, but not fitting the description. No outdoor area, no two levels, no happy hour, etc. Comfort Zone must have had a major overhaul. While checking out any mistake on our part in the next alleyway, we discovered the new Mix & Malt pub.
The outdoor area looked so nice that we instantly found a new comfort zone. Inside is a cosy area with books and sofas, a bar and upstairs a restaurant area: Mix, Malt and Menu with sandwiches, finger food and platters.
The draft beers are a bit expensive but we felt victim to Guinness draft beer for KRW 9000 a glass, served in the right glass (although cooled in a freezer). Nachos chips on the site were nice.
Mix & Malt is a great pub and good successor to the Comfort Zone. Recommended.
