Great hostel Aug 22, 2012
I was looking for a place to stay in Prague for one night but not right inside the city center. Miss Sophie's had the perfect location for that, only 10' walk from Wenceslas square. However the rates were a bit too high for my budget but I managed to get a bargain through some hostel booking site.

Upon checking in I was happy they had upgraded me to a 4 person dorm instead of the 5 person dorm I had booked. I always think that the least people, the quieter. And I was right that night again. As the room was not available yet I was allowed to use the luggage room in the basement to store my bags and came back a bit later to check into the room.

The room was quite clean and big, with big drawers to be used as lockers under the bunk beds. It also had AC but only to be commanded by the staff at reception. The bathroom was the part I prefered, all black with little lights and a big mirror, also a hairdryer and a big shower:)

Each bed had a little reading light as well as a little table attached to the wall with a plug, so handy for mobile phones or mp3 player and so on.

As for the area it had everything you need and also within walking distance of the center.

Fantastic hostel! Aug 17, 2011
Miss Sophie's is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. It's also one of my favourite ones :) I stayed there twice and will be coming back for sure.

The hostel is located close to I.P. Pavlova metro station which is very convenient. It is also not far from the historic centre so if the weather is nice then it's definitely a good idea to walk instead of taking a tube.

I stayed in a 5-bed female dorm with a private bathroom. The room is spacious and modern. Everything is new. And the best thing is that there are no bunk beds! The pillows are large which is great as you can sleep comfortably. Also, everyone has a reading light - very convenient. I also liked the lockers under the bed, they are very big so everything fits in.

The bathroom is also very modern and so is the kitchen. The whole hostel is very clean. It is also very quiet, definitely not a party place. Perfect if you want to relax and have a rest.

Affordable hostel in Prague Apr 01, 2011
Their breakfast is marvellous which is being served in the basement dining area. Their cook is from France and he will serve you well.

The hostel is situated quite far away from the old town square but it's easy to travel via the underground metro where IP Pavlova station is located about 3-5 minutes walk from the hostel.

Not much of night life around the hostel area as they are all centred around the old town square or the Wenceslas area.

Quite cumbersome to travel with more than 1 luggage as you need to climb up and down escalators or staircases if you were to commute from the airport or train station.

A quiet hostel and the staff will be able to guide / advice on your sightseeings if you are not familiar with Prague.

Great Hostel Mar 20, 2011
One of the best hostel I've ever stayed in.

The 5 bed ensuite dorms were amazing. Bathroom and kitchen was like I was still at home!

Located just a short walk to the main sites, although the nearest train station was only around the corner. All in all, you weren't find a better hostel in Prague then Miss Sophie's!

Hostel plus!! May 26, 2009
Miss Sophie’s is located a 15 minute walk to the main tourist squares and a shorter walk to the river for some great views. The street is quiet which is ideal for sleeping and the key cards for the main door let you in at any time you need.

The room was spacious, modern and very clean which made for a comfortable stay. I didn’t mind the walk everyday and was happier to not having loads of tourists outside. There are also a couple of trams that connect to the castle and old square just outside the door.

There was a refrigerator in the room so you could bring back some drinks to stay cold in addition to reception selling various drinks if you desire. There are 2 free internet terminals in the lobby in a big room in the basement with some cooking facilities and a big flat screen to watch DVDs.

We had an ensuite with a great shower and very clean. The staff were helpful with suggestions, maps and calling taxis for us. There is also a locked luggage store in the basement for the day you check out.

The place is a little pricier than your average hostel but cheaper than a hotel and compares much closer in quality. It is worth the few extra dollars, but books up quick so get a reservation in advance.

but a beat expensive if you don`t want to use eos much money. the area around also is expensivly to be prague but ot use from Norway it is cheap.

IT is in new town of Prague and to go to the most of the tourst seeing in Prague you have to use the metro.

but if you have some money and like nice hotels and can afford it this is a nice place. not as expensive as a hotel but a nice place for been hostel:)

Stayed at Miss Sophies over New Years 2007, amazing quality for a hostel at affordable prices, would recommend to anyone. Bathnrooms and facilities were excellent, and yes the pillows were amazing, so big and soft. Staff were very helpful, and even took a group of us out and around prague one of the evenings. Walking distance from city centre, and all major attractions however the metro station is very close by if needed. They have internet, plenty of storage facilities, and a common room with cooking facilities downstairs in the basement.

Miss Sophie's is a clean, quiet hostel in the New Town, not far from IP

Pavlova metro station. There's always a member of staff on hand

to help and recommend places to eat, free internet access, and a chill

out area downstairs. From the state of the facilities, they're

pretty much brand new and very modern; also, the comfiest pillows

you'll find in any hostel! They're huge! Very highly

recommended.

Not quite hostel, not quite hotel but well located, clean, efficiently run and friendly. I was recommended by some previous guests I met in Slovenia and found it to be a good choice for Prague. About a 10 minute walk to Wencelas Square and close to the tram route
