Popular beach area in Southern Rhode Island. State run beach with large parking area, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops selling towels, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. This is a big tourist attraction in southern New England, and crowds can be large on weekends. Parking fees range from $7 to $14, and include entrance to the beach and bath houses. Showers and changing stalls are available at no extra charge. Nearby Watch Hill has more restaurants and shops, and the oldest continually operating carousel in the US...where you can still catch the brass ring! Entrance fee to the beach at Watch Hill is $6 per adult.
