Miro Apartments Brisbane

I was a long term resident at the Miro apartments from August 08 to Feb 09. Initially, Miro looked great, being brand new. BUT, it was a nightmare, trying to get set up my phone line at the Miro, took me almost a month to do. Thanks to misinformation from the resident mangers.

Almost a month into the tenancy, major construction started at the lot directly behind my unit, and for 6 days a week, you can hear the pounding and banging from the site every morning from as early as 630am.

And just 3 weeks before my lease was up, there was a stuff up with the phone lines. The management was supposed to work on the unit beside mine but somehow, disconnected mine. It took them 6 days and my daily calling in the resident manager before it was rectified.

Finally on the day I was to hand over the keys before I moved out, I had to get the managers to make an inspection. However, they were too busy to do it.

Me: Hi, I'd like to hand over the apartment now.
Manager: Ok sure, but I can't do it today.
Me: Why not?
Manager raising her voice: I'm too busy today (she was teaching a new staff)

For future long term tenents, I highly NOT recommend this place to you.
