Miramont Castle Museum Manitou Springs Reviews
Best hidden treasure in Colorado Springs Jan 17, 2015
It's amazing to experience this lovely castle right in Colorado Springs! After taking a tour of this historic castle, I had to share for everyone. It was built in 1895, a personal residence for Fr. Jean Baptiste Francolon and his mother. Throughout the years the castle went through many changes, ownership, and even rescued from disrepair by Manitou Springs Historical Society. Today she sits under construction, and still standing (safely) for visitors to come. Displaying the authentic and original decor throughout the castle!
The price is located on their website, and for military it was free with ID card. Parking is not bad, a few up front and handicap parking. In the back, you will find more parking spaces for all visiting and it's free.
At the top of the castle, you may also be interested in the Gift shop. It also has it's own hours and entrance. They have a lot of Victorian souvenirs, books, and snacks for average pricing. Come check it out, it's one of Colorado Springs best hidden treasures.
