Nice Panoramic View ! Mar 06, 2011
Miradouro das Portas do Sol standing over Medieval Lisbon !

Just a few steps away from Miradouro de Santa Luzia, a balcony opens onto the river offering truly spectacular views over Alfama.

Faced by soft-toned buildings and the Decorative Arts Museum, this is a popular stop for photographers, with its stunning view from Sγo Vicente de Fora Church to the river.

There is also a statue of St. Vincent (the city's patron saint) holding a boat with two ravens, the symbols of Lisbon.

A lot of coffee shops and restaurants around this area and very close Saint George castle !

You can go there just to Walk up from Baixa or with the famous tram No 28 :)

Some panoramic photos available :)

Not excactly Brian :) I have the 10.5 fisheye for DX format and cost about 650-700 euro to Greece .
Check the lens at Ken , also have very good secrets about your camera and many compatibilities :)

the fisheye is different from a wide view lens , also with a special program can make the photos only wide without disfigurement , but the 14-24mm is amazing professional wide lens and for this reason is so expensive !
Don't buy 16-35mm are not a good choice , try 18-200mm if you want everything in a lens :)

You have the Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8 as I recall, and you recommended to me, but it's mighty expensive (~2K USD). Granted, it's a lens for insane ultra wide views, but the Nikkor 16-35mm f/4 is about half the price and smaller too. A bit more useful zoom range perhaps and can takes filters too. Your thoughts?
