Minh Hu’ong Ancestor Worship House Hoi An Reviews
Minh Hu’ong Ancestor Worship House Jul 06, 2013
The Minh Hu’ong Ancestor Worship House located inside Hoi An old town and it is free to enter and roaming inside this house.
The worship house was built by Vietnamese Chinese in the late 18th century to worship their ancestor who built and founded the Minh Hu’ong Village. In addition to worship their ancestor, they also worship the Chinese God Thien Hau Thanh Mau (Thien Hau Holly Mother), and God of Earth and God of Fortune.
When we enter the Ancestor Worship house, and passed the gate, there is a souvenir shop sell many things and displaying many stuff outside on the table but the seller did not pushy and did not even offer to sell, she just smile and greet us when we arrive there.
Once we passed the souvenir shop, there is a courtyard which was spacious with greenery plant live at the pots.
Outside the main door, there are a couple dragon statues guarding the door.
Plenty of old carved chairs inside the main building which worship the God.
