Mindport, a tiny, mildly entertaining place to spend an hour Jul 02, 2009
Mindport is a very small, very hands-on science museum and art gallery. They have one room with cool science exhibits that you can play with and a room in which they rotate in exhibits. They were featuring bones during my visit.(I think this exhibit should have been labeled better to make it easier for the visitor to enjoy.) In the main room they featured a fog tornado, a phone that will let you hear yourself talk backwards, and marble "machines".

For 2 bucks admission, I think it was well worth the money and the trip. I heard about this place last week and so decided to meet up with my friend Sam and check it out. It is privately funded (they do not receive any public funds) and they depend on donations and admissions to stay open. Keeping this in mind, it is a very cool place. I would like to see more people support it because I would like to see them expand and be able to do more. Let's see what they can really do!

note:would have been much more entertaining with children along
