For less than $1.89 I had a great cup of Irish tea, infact the best Irish tea I have ever had. I didn't even know the Irish drunk tea until I found it at the Alterra coffee house located inside General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee. It made the wait very comfortable, beside I love tea.

La Fuente, or "The Fountain" is probably my favorite restaurant in the city of Milwaukee. I love Mexican food to begin with, but this place seems to just have it mastered. Obviously I believe the food to be phenomenal.
My favorite item on the menu is the chimichanga. I like most chimichangas …

Anyway, I have fun where ever I am so fun was had at MO's Irish pub. The first night was just a beer and a little food (good fre…

Nice little restaurant near the medical college. Upscale interior, great service, has a separate bar area if you just want to get some drinks. Although the menu doesn't have a huge selection, anything that is on there is excellent. Above average selection of wines. The prices are probably above a…

I lived in Puerto Rico for four months when I was a commercial diver. We lived in a beach house, walked down to the nearest bar for local food.
All of those wonderful memories came back today, when an associate introduced me to Edgar's Calypso.
Upon walking in the door, the smells of spices g…

Great Beer. Frequent Live Music. Pub food that tastes better than pub food. What is there not to like about the Milwaukee Ale House?
I have been here many times with groups ranging from 2-20 people and every time was a memorable experience. The restaurant is located in the hip Third Ward making…

This is the view from the al fresco dining at Pieces of Eight. Though the picture was taken a year ago, the afternoon was enjoyable and worth revisiting. The menu was a little pricey, but worth it. A lot of food done very well! At the right times of day you can watch the Milwaukee Art Museum fol…

Swig is a hip restaurant in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward. This place really is at its best in the summer when they roll the windows up (garage style) and set tables out on the sidewalk. The decor is great and the staff is excellent. I have been to Swig 4 times (only 2 times at it's new locatio…

I stopped in here for lunch with a friend and i have to say it was a nice lil diner. It was recently remodeled, has new owners but it is was nice and clean.
When you walk in, on the right are the diner-table style with spinning seats. Me and my friend sat in a booth. There is a smoking and non-s…

Waited very long with my two little kids while our table that was being set for us was given away to someone else. Food was very bland, we waited 40 minutes for our food (fish fries and a hamburger) on a not so busy Friday night.
NOT WORTH IT
