Milwaukee County Zoo Apr 13, 2012
The Milwaukee County Zoo has been around for a long time first opening its door 1892 but undergone a couple name changes since it first opened. They are located on 200 acres with more than 2,275 mammals, birds, fish, amphibians and reptiles with more than 330 species represented. It had been years since I visited this zoo and I forgot how wonderful of a place it was until I spent the day there taking photos and watching the animals do there thing. For parking and the admission into the zoo it cost me $24 but well worth it. I had never seen a peacock with its feathers all spread out until my visit here. I think it was mating season or something since they all had there feathers standing up. The zoo is a great place for all ages and is a great way to spend a couple hours or even the day. If you are in the area I would recommend checking out the Milwaukee County Zoo since it is one of the top zoos in the nation.

Gods Creatures May 15, 2010
Expected for sight seeing the greatest creatures alive. They were out all of them enjoying their weekend like me.

No lines to get in and average price including parking ($11). People of Milwaukee were really nice too, and I can say I do talk to everyone I see too, so it doesn't hurt. Make sure you put on some comfortable sneakers, you will be walking for awhile. If you came to see animals you must remember they live in separate areas or they will hurt one another. I recommend to all ages, and anyone that enjoys animals and their history like me ;)

**You cant feed the animals, and you cant jump in cages---->Thats for the people that see dead people! You know who you**

A Zoo missing animals... Jul 09, 2008
I use to go here to Milwaukee County Zoo when i was kid.I grew up in Milwaukee and Back then it was fun..riding the choo-choo train, pony ride, seeing how big these farm and wild animals were in real life, like they walked right out from my cartoons...

Sad to say, a decade later I come back and the experiance for me this time was horrible! Where was the magic?! I think the experiance was bad for me because I have a adult outlook on life and animals in general. Most of time I was worried about how dull the animals looked or lack of...

I havent been to this zoo since 1996 or 1995...but then it was cool. Now..this sucked! Where the hell were the animals..i didnt get to see the kangaroos on display or none of the elephants...all of a sounded the animals at the zoo were i felt like I was bamboozled for my money. I wanted to see KOALAS!!! and there were none...: (

The Zoo is great for family vacations, a friend and I went because of the simple fact that we havent been back to a zoo since we ourselves were children.

I still recommend the County Zoo, its primarly for children or those special adults who still have that wonder and amazement in animals!
