Millennium Resort Scottsdale McCormick Ranch Reviews
Great, quiet resort, for unbelievably cheap offering VIP service. Feb 13, 2010
I won the hotel on priceline in conjunction with the extra $10/night off from the entertainment book. I was positively shocked when I plugged in the ridiculous bid of $19/night during peak season and the bid was accepted. That's right, a resort for $19 a night in Scottsdale.
When I arrived after midnight, at checkin I was upgraded to a Villa for the evening. 2800 sq ft, 2 stories, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and offered a spectacular morning view of the 8th hole on the golf course overlooking the lake.
The next afternoon I was moved to the hotel portion of the property. The room was overlooking the pool and still overlooking the lake. The decor was updated, the bed was very comfortable, and the room very clean.
I was treated like a VIP at this resort. The private lake offered paddle boats and canoes (free). Bicycles were positioned just outside the front doors for guests to use to ride around the property. A small workout room was also free, though amenities in it were limited to a treadmill, a couple of recumbent bikes. Tennis courts were also on this property.
Restaurants offered great service with food that was alright. The Diamondback Lounge was just above average on the entrees'. Desserts were fabulous though!
I was surprised that the poolside bar was so reasonably priced.
The location of this place was on a busline and was about 3 miles North from Old Town and about 3 miles South from Shea Blvd.
4th floor inside the lobby offered a couple of computers for guests along with printers free for guests.
This was absolutely the best deal around for what I paid. Regular rack rates during my stay were $147 a night. Talk about steep discounts!
A great place to relax and unwind. If you are looking for great night life, however, choose another location as this is not necessarily close to anything and it is definitely quiet at night.
