1 of the best boss's i ever had sent my mother and i, to italy in december.stayed at the best western springhouse hotel in rome 10 minute walk to vatican. my mother brother sister and i from wisconsin in the picture. this is a small pizza place in venice.the sad part is my mother passed away the following feb we never had a chance to talk about our trip together

Here are some pictures from the trip threw Italy. We started in Rome and stayed some days in a nice flat from an old lady. Just for this big historical city you can spend a lot of time. After Rome and Vatican, we visited Florence. Our last station was Milan.

My final meeting was cancelled so I rushed to the Duomo di Milano - not time to sample the trams though, taxi all the way. I had two hours to get there, look around and get to the airport! It was blisteringly hot - 39c and I was (rather foolishly) wearing a blue shirt which became a darker shade of blue ... :(
Duomo is beautiful and is one of the world's largest churches. Well worth a vist.
