From Positano we made the enormously long trek up to Milan. We rode a bus for two hours along the winding cliffs from Positano to Naples, and then we took an overnight train from Naples to Milan. Milan is a very beautiful city. We were only there for the day, because we had to get back to France to…

We left Venice this morning to go to the Cinque Terre. On the way we stopped in Milan for a couple of hours, and decided to wander around town. Thankfully, the train station had luggage storage, so we dropped off our bags and headed into town.

After 2 years living in Spain I decided that was the time to go to Italy. I have to save a lot of money, but it worth it.
I made the typical tourist route but by my own, Milan, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome.
When the money was over, I had to return to Spain but, 8 months later I went back to Italy to visit Naples, Caserta, Pompeya, Positano, Lucca, Cinque Terre and Portovenere.
It was a very hot summer (2003) but I had a great moment there!

When I decided on this Italy trip, it didn't really matter where I would fly to, since I would travel around the country anyway. It turned out that the cheapest flight to Italy for me was an easyjet flight from Brussels to Milan. Many people had warned me not to go to Milan, because there is "nothi…
