Mike Ditka's

Ditka's is a great restaurant located in downtown Chicago and even though the sports memorabilia dominate the landscape, its also a top notch place to eat. Ditka's originally from the Pittsburgh area and I must admit that this really struck a chord with me. The menu is excellent from top to bottom and is a bit on the pricey side, however, its just one of those special places so if you decide to head out in Chicago for a really nice night out this is a great choice.

Also, depending on the night don't be surprised if you find "Coach" in there enjoying a few beverages. A friend of mine attended a wedding rehearsal dinner upstairs and he went out of his way to stop by and pass along his congrats.

The location out in Oak Brook is more of a straight up bar so go downtown if you want the real experience.
