Midtown Hostel Nottingham Reviews
Central stay Nov 19, 2011
It was an interesting stay. It's a rather small place, but very central.
I was handed linen and invited to make my own bed, which wasn't a big deal, though I also had to strip the bed first as this hadn't been done from the previous person.
The kitchen and lounge aren't big, but in proportion to the small number of rooms/beds. The upstairs bathroom is quite spacious, and feels more like someone's home than a hostel.
The staff can be nice, but not especially helpful with tips on what to do or where to go in Nottingham. I didn't see any brochures or anything in the hostel.
Note that there's no map or anything to help you get direction at the coach station - so be prepared in advance. On Sundays the tourist information shop (and only place to buy souvenirs) is not open.
