Midleton Overview

Midleton is a beautiful town just outside Cork city, with a population of approximately 26,000 it is fast growing. The name 'Midleton' came from where it is located, it is halfway between Cork city and Youghal, so the name 'Midleton' short for 'Middle Town' was given to this town.

Midleton is most famous for the Jameson Distillery, this distillery is a very big tourist attraction as it is dated back to 1795.
