Mid Vallee Golf Course De Pere Reviews
27 Holes of Affordable, Well-Kept Scenery Dec 09, 2008
This public golf course is situated in Northeast Wisconsin between the cities of Green Bay and Appleton. Three 9-hole courses (a red course, white course, and blue course) offer challenging shots, water hazards, and perfectly manicured greens. Usually easy to get a tee-time, reservations are not necessary except on Tuesdays after 4:30pm (league) or Saturday mornings before 9:00am.
Walking and riding fees are very reasonable (about $17 to $22) and there are plenty of discounts available online or in the Entertainment book (buy one get one free).
My favorite course of the three is the blue, then the white, then least favorite is red. The red course has a very short 1st hole with deep rough all around the green, and generally tall rough throughout the course. This red course simply "eats" too many of my balls!
Also offering a nice driving range and putting green, this is a great place to spend an afternoon when you are on a budget.
The clubhouse has a good collection of cold beer and serves very inexpensive food. Good, friendly service, this is a gathering place for even those who don't golf.
