Microtel Inn and Suites Riverside Dayton (Ohio)

My usual lodging when I visit Dayton for business, which I jokingly refer to as my "fleabag motel" (because it costs less than half of what everyone else pays). The Microtel is certainly no frills - but you won't anything else in the US for $45 a night that provides a fridge in your room, free internet (more reliable than other hotels where you have to pay $10 to get access) and most astonishing of all ---> unlimited, FREE long distance phone calls!

You won't find any facilities (i.e., no pool, gym, etc., etc.), but they do provide free breakfast. It isn't great, though I can't recall ever savoring the complimentary breakfast at any hotel.

I've been staying at the Microtel in Dayton more or less once a month for the last three years, and it has consistently been a value. Best part about the Dayton Microtel is that there is a Lebanese restaurant, Cedarlands, right across the street!
