Traditional Panamanian houses May 02, 2009
"Mi Pueblito" (translated as "My tiny village") is a very small fake village with traditional replicas of Panamanian houses and other buildings from the country side. At the time I was there, there was not a lot going on. But there should have been a traditional dance evening that day, but because of elections there wasn't. There were a few souvenir shops to buy something nice. It's interesting, because there is a little church, a traditional old schoolclass, a barbershop, a living room and so on. That was cool to go back in time. Furthermore there was a Pollera museum where they showed traditional dresses, which were very beautiful ones between them. Nice thing about this Pollera museum is that it's the only place here with air conditioning to fresh up!

I've heard there is also some Indian village, but haven't seen it. Maybe because the weather was already bad that day. If you really want to enter it, I think you only pay US$1.
