For 20 cents USD the Metro is an exceptional experience and buy.
Maps are available, ask the locals, ask your hostel/hotel staff for directions.
20 cents.
This is the best transportation bargain I have ever ridden.

After a layover in Dallas, I arrived in Mexico City.  Customs took forever, but I eventually found my way to the taxi stands.  Luckily I had read about the scam where they try to charge you extra for a larger car than you want and caught t…metro and went to the market the locals go to.  The metro stop lets you out in the middle of the market, so you have to push by the chilis and little girl dresses trying to find your way.  I didn't see any foods… Flan, pyramids, ghosts, & canals

Universidad Autonoma de Mexico, better known as UNAM. Located on the south side of the huge metropolis known as Mexico City. I knew this huge campus better than most of the 270,000 students--if you can believe that number--having been all over with…metro tickets. Today we went to pick up our Cuban Visas. Actually before we left we wanted to finalise our flights to Cuba since our tickets hadn't been issued due to some credit card trouble. After some calling to the TACA Toll-free line we found out that the cre…metro for the first time. The metro actually turned out to be very simple to navigate and tickets are supercheap - a single ticket is 2 Pesos which is about 0.20 USD or 1.40 ZAR - compared to the London underground where a single sets you back… Visa Pickup and Diego Rievera's Studio

Debout vraiment vers 8h15. Petit dej en mettant les photos sur internet. Vers 10h30 on part de l hotel pour commencer la suite de la visite de Mexico City. On va a quartier Coyoacan pour voir le musee de Frida Kahlo. Ensuite lunch dans un petit rest…metro pour aller voir le Zocalo, la on fait quelques achats. C est chouette de revoir le centre de la ville. Ensuite on reprend le metro pour aller dans la Zona Rosa, quartier des homosexuels, pour aller chercher des Converse pour toute la famille Dut.
