Great Hotel at the Edge of Tenderloin Jan 23, 2009

Lovely hotel in a great location Oct 16, 2008
Location is outstanding, right next to the start of the cable car lines as well as Union Square.

We just spent three nights at the Metropolis. I had read some "not so great" reviews but since we had already booked it, we went anyway. We had no regrets at all. Funky is a good way to describe it.
