Metropolis Coffee Company

I went here for a pre going away to Spain snack with two of my friends. They have tons of options for teas, coffees and cake. If you get hot tea, it comes in your own personal tea pot, which I think is adorable. However,..this cafe is near Loyola University and there are always people studying and frantically typing on laptops. Frankly I do not quite get the appeal of studying in coffee shops. What happens if you have to pee? Who watches your stuff? Do you bring your laptop in there with you? Also I think it is incosiderate that Metropolis charges slightly more to eat in than for a to-go order, but does nothing to move along patrons who have no merchandise infront of them and are just using the table as their personal library...It's unfair to patrons who paid their eat in fee and then have no where to sit. Recommended for variety of cakes and teas, but average for atmosphere and service.
