Metropol Hotel Tallinn

Hotel Metropol is located in the heart of the wonderful city of Tallinn. The hotel is in walking distance to the historical old town, it is only 200 m from the entrance of the Old Town, where you in the day time find the flower market. It is also close to many of the other main sights of the city, and also a lot of shopping centres. There is only 500 m to the port, but not the nicest part of it.

If you are interested in conection to the transport networks; the railway station is just 1 km away and the central bus station is 2 km from the hotel. There are just 5 km to the airport which will not ruin your economy if you take a taxi.

The hotel Metropol is not a classy hotel but it is a modern hotel that has tried to make the best out of its facilities. If you go for a standard room like I did, it is very basic but also to a basic price.
The hotel has also better rooms if you want to have that. You can book a room or a suite with sauna, something you actually see a lot of in Estonia.

In the hotel there are also a beauty salon and some just around the corner, these services are usually in good quality in Estonia. In the beauty salon on the ground floor of the hotel you can use services of the hairdresser, barber and cosmetologist. The manicure, pedicure and massage services are also offered.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and I found the hotel to have a good ratio between quality and price if you are looking for a basic stay
