In Barcelona, beware of pickpokets. Jun 18, 2011
In Barcelona you must go to the RAMBLAS, it's a main road, where everything happens, beware of pickpoketers.

You must go to the Sagrada familia, it's a beautiful Gaudi church wich is not finnished, it's expected to be finnished in 2030.

Take a bus tour, they stop at every nice spot, you pay about 22€ for an intire day, and you can hop off, where you like and then hop on a next bus , for there are many busses, they have head sets with tour guides in 15 languages.

You start the rideat the plaza Catalunha, beautiful!

Barcelona Bus Touristic Jun 18, 2011
The best way to find out the best spots in Barcelona, is to take a ride for ine or two days.

Especialy if you don't have much time to spend, and want to make the most of it.

After taking this bus ride, you can go on your own, explore the spots you want, and who knows, you can maybe hire a bike and make some exercise.

Enjoy Barcelona, I certainly did!

Good metro connectivity Mar 10, 2011
The metro in barcelona are cheaper mode of travel. The services are very good. It woudl be better to take ticket from machine at station. If you are staying for short duration then buy T10 tickets which is Euro 8.25 and gives 10 rides in total in a span of one month. This ticket can be used in bus also. The machine do return the balance amount if you key in the bigger note.

Metro in Barcelona Aug 05, 2008
Barcelona Metro system consists of 11 lines with 164 stations. The metro is tidy and looks new. The metro map is clear and it is easy to read. The most important attractions are located near a metro station. 1 day travel pass costs 5€ and a 3 day travel pass 13€. Best way to explore the city.

Whilst riding on the metro you must laways be careful especially whilst in barcelona, if your not careful you could end up on the wrong train. You should also know that if you want to go to barcelona town cetre you need to get off at barcelona(catalunya) but if you want to ride the tourist bus around barcelona you need to get off at barcelona sants !!! The tourist bus can be classed as expensive but its well worth it at 19 euros per person.
