This is one of a few Mesones located on the historic Cava De San Miguel street in Madrid. Mesones are these long skinny, cave like hole in the wall bars, which are popular with the locals, know for karaoke, cheap sangria, and tapas. It is very lively on Friday and Saturday night, but I was there on monday night and it was awesome. This place is great place to come to and relax with a few friends over some tapas and a pitcher of sangria :) The great thing is that there are a few of these mesones, so once you are done with one, you can poke your head into the next one (There is also Meson de la Tortilla and Meson de la Boqueron) and see what is going on there.
