Meros B&B Khiva Reviews

Location: Excellent, inside the old city walls close to both west and north Gates. Stones throw from all the sites in the main squares. Easy to find and plenty of signs to help you find it.
Price: $30 night for two people
Has six rooms all with Ensuite, and western toilets. Combinations of double beds, single and triple beds. Internet is available on a fixed line,(there are two free wifi spots at cafes in the nearby square) there is also a fridge stocked with various cold drinks, all based on an honesty system of take and pay. Breakfast is included, smoked cheese, bread and apricot preserve. Along with either two small omelettes or pancakes. Evening meals are tasty and available as long as you give enough notice of requirement.
Rooms were clean and we had choice of two both with air con. There is also a laundry service which costs $2 a kilo. They will help with exchanging money, arranging train tickets for onward travel, obtaining local sim cards at face value costs, as is the prices of all the drinks in the fridge. Jaladdin speaks excellent English and is happy to help wherever he can, but is also not pushy in a welcome place to relax. The interior of the building is beautifully decorated; it was hard to take my eyes off the ceilings. Along with the grand dinning table and chairs.
Two recommendations would be: Some form of shade on the rooftop terrace as you do get a fab view of the old city and would make this a winner for staying guests to chill out,
Bring your own toilet paper, soap and towels as none of these are provided.
