Nice and Friendly Hotel Feb 17, 2009
good thing about this hotel are the people and location. the staffs are very helpful and friendly. location is near the shopping area and MTR. the room is big and toilet is clean all the time. they also have free fruits and bottled water everyday. we stayed there for 5 day (Feb 2009) and definitely we will stay here again.

Convenient Location in Singapore Apr 26, 2005
On Orchard Road, the Meritus Mandarin Hotel is centrally located for shopping and going out on the town. When we arrived at the hotel there were at least twenty people in line to check in and we thought we would be there all night; to our surprise, we were walking to our rooms within ten minutes. The staff are very fast and efficient with the check-in process and are obviously accustomed to heavy volume.
The rooms were spacious with all amenities expected of hotels that cater to business travelers. The only drawback was the bed was not very comfortable. Because Singapore has so many great restaurants I did not have a chance to try the hotel restaurant. The fitness center and swimming pool were very nice and well maintained. If you want to be right in the middle of the action this is a great hotel.
