In the center of Tours Aug 06, 2005
This hotel was more than adequate for our stay in Tours. It is located in the center of Tours, adjacent to the train station. Even with its close proximity to the train station, I did not think noise was an issue. They claim the rooms have been soundproofed. I believe them. The convention center/conference hall is a short three block walk. This is a perfect place to stay if you're in town for a conference.
The room was spacious. Plenty of room to walk around without bumping into anything. The furniture was simple, nothing fancy. Same with the bathroom - lots of space but basic. Each room has a mini-fridge. Not the tiny cube shaped one but a step above that. I don't think the hotel had a restaurant. I believe it was next door. There are several restaurants within 2 blocks. Venture a few blocks further and you'll have no problem finding a place to eat. Part of the France 2005 travel blog |
