Santa Cruz fresh food market is a mix of street vendors and multiple warehouse markets. On the streets you’ll mostly encounter fruits, all kinds of seeds, many small businesses, food for pets and various clothing items. Roads are kind of paved, but full of mud or dust, so they look more like obstacle course then a place that you can walk on. I was not the only tall guy going around. Number of European Mennonite “colonist” walk around in the best clean overalls, looking for number of things they need for their farms.

Warehouses are mostly meat and cheese oriented, with some food stalls on the sides. Food is fantastic! Tasty, smells good, but you’ll have to be open with the Bolivian cleanliness standards… If you are afraid about food, I will suggest number of fantastic soups or some juices because they are generally very safe. Best time for food is from 9-13, and after that time everything slowly closes down.

Clothing, electronics and general necessities are found in few other multilevel buildings that lean on the market.
