Merapi Volcano Tour Sep 06, 2011
Merapi the “FIRE MOUNTAIN”, is one of Indonesia’s most destructive volcanoes and there are times when the summit is off limits because of dangerous sulfurous fumes. The summit, which often cuts trough cloud is 2911 meters high. This volcano just erupted on last November 2010 were more than 300 peoples killed. We can see the Merapi volcano from Kali Adem village ( only 3 km from the summit ), the worst village effected by the eruption of Merapi or the place where the 300 peoples burned by hot gas from Merapi.
