Mennonite Heritage Village Travel Reviews

May 25, 2007
This is a great stop just off the Trans-Canada highway and is a fascinating way to spend an afternoon. The village is made up of historical buildings that were moved onto the site to preserve the history. The houses, shops and barns are open for you to walk through and explore. There is a general store that is open for visitors to buy things similar to what was sold a hundred years ago, a windmill, school, blacksmith, church and more. You can spend a couple hours going through each building so leave a lot of time!
