Although Menifee is not a tourist destination, is it a lovely place that has grown exponentially in the past decade. The city has been kept beautiful despite all of the housing that has been built, and families flock to this area due to it's quiet nature and safe feel. Several housing developments have also incorporated man-made lakes into their communities, adding an upper class feel to the area.

A nearby college campus has grown over the years as well, offering day and night classes in nearly every subject. Menifee is not a typical college student sort of city, but rather more geared toward mature, working adults who are motivated to finish their degree.
