Curious prehistoric arrangement Nov 11, 2010
You are best getting a decent scale map or asking questions to find Men-an-Tol. Apparently this is Cornish for 'hole with a stone' but it sounds far more interesting.

Actually there is one fallen straight stone that is believed, according to the website, to have formed a triangle with the two still standing. Between the two, about equidistant is the eponymous stone with a hole. both the stone and the hole being circular.

As you might expect, there have been (and still are) various legends and beliefs about the stone. The website gives some but there are also ideas of help towars pregnancy and of wish fulfillment for those crawling through.
