So it is I live in Memphis, TN and there is definitely no shortage of things to do here. Thus I figured I'd share some pictures from Memphis and the surrounding area so people can get a feel of some of the sights this city offers.

Expect some Martin Luther King history, Elvis, Blues, and BBQ.

A great two day triathlon! First day off road: swim, mountain bike, trail run. Day two: Olympic distance. We had great weather for this event and it was my first time in Memphis, cool city.

I traveled to Memphis in late March 2008. Didn't have the opportunity to see Graceland and the MLK memorial but did have a great time on Beale Street. There was a Hollywood filming of "Soul Men" featuring Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac during my stay. Don't forget to stop and see the Duck Palace and their daily march to the penthouse suite!

September 2008, unfortunately the trip was cut short as I had to return to Germany to be with my mum who was not well at the time.

our day in memphis was dedicated to visiting Graceland, the home of Elvis. You can get a tour of his mansion, see his planes, and tour his garage. this city is a little more quiter on a sunday night. but still a good experience.
