Melody Hotel Xi'an

I stayed for one night in a brief overnighter to see the Terracotta warriors. The best thing for me was the location. The hotel is located right on the main square in the heart of Xian, right next to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. The carpets in the rooms and hallways are heavily worn and stained, and the tiles in the bathrooms' showers are extremely outdated. Fortunately no matter what could you say about the hotel the beds were nice and clean. I wasn’t really impressed with the breakfast (blend and not much of a choice) in comparison to other hotels in China I stayed at.
I have been offered the hotel at the airport and have been transported directly from the airport to hotel’s door. There is also a tourist office in the hotel (located on the 1st floor) which organized the trip to Terracotta Warriors for me and some other places of interest. The mini bus pickup point is right outside of the hotel.
