Melkweg & Paradiso, Amsterdam

The Melkweg is Definetly thé place to be, top artist perform almost weekly and teh accomodation is very good.
The drinks are average price and the tickets are cheap (15-20 euro for a concert, approx 2 euro for a drink)
And The Melkweg is Close to other bars, clubs and coffeshops.
Its about a 20 minute walk from the station, and theres a tram stop next to The Melkweg.

The Melkweg
Five artistic disciplines are represented there: Music, Dance/Theatre, Film, Photography and Media Art. You can see the best music performances there from national (and some international) acts and also nice parties and dance events are being hosted here. It’s not too big so its very charming. Prices are different for everything depending on the artist that’s performing or depending on wich party is being held. But if you’re in Amsterdam and you want to go out you should check if something nice is going on at the melkweg. Tickets can be bought in advance at almost all the postoffices in the Netherlands. If you want to go and see a music concert you should buy tickets in advance. To visit something at the Melkweg you’ll have to buy a Melkweg membership aswell. That will cost you 3 euro’s. This membership can be bought at the Melkweg itself or also at the postoffices. You will find the Melkweg in the centre of Amsterdam.

Paradiso
At Paradiso more music concerts, dance events and parties are being held. National and International acts can be seen here. You should also buy tickets in advance because the more populair things are sold out very quickly. The tickets can be bought in advance at most postoffices in the Netherlands. Paradiso can be in the centre of Amsterdam.
