In October we started a 3 month long journey through South East Asia. We visited Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. It was an unforgetabletrip we'll never forget. I'll write it in 4 different blogs.

Arrived in Melbourne and instantly felt like I was in the Pacific NW of the USA.  Having lived in that part of the US for a while and becoming very fond of it...I really liked Melbourne!

After visiting family 2 times we took the step to organise an eastcoast tour, starting at Darwin to finish in Melbourne (during the Formula One races in Albert Park).

Well we're here in Melbourne and still alive. We survived not having our luggage, not having a bank account, not having a phone or home. We're good now though! We've moved into our new home. Courtney's starting school on Monday, July 16th and Meghan's going to New Zealand on July 25th. Well, hope you enjoy!

Australia is the right place to live!! first class cities, extraordinary wild animals, unique vegetation, perfect tropical beaches, endless landscapes and on top of that AUSTRALIANS!! Really nice and warm people to visitors concerned on preserving its rich natural resources. The east coast of Australia offers the most of the attractions for first time visitors. Please do not miss the chance to see both Sidney and Melbourne as top city destinations alike.

I have a week to spend in Melbourne to hang out and decide my next move as my trip winds down.  Very cool city, might be cooler than Sydney.

Started in Sydney, went to Melbourne, Blue Mountains, then down to Adelaide,Phillip's Island (saw the little penguins run onto the beach), up to Darwin drove through to Alice Springs, climbed Uluru, flew to Cairns, went out on the reef, then back to Sydney. I think I liked Melbourne the best although all of it was an amazing experience, which I'd be more then happy to talk about.

Melbourne is such a vibrant and wonderful city. With the neverending shopping at Swansea street and the trams at St Kilda's, the offbeat store and pubs up Smith street is really great!
