Just A Replica But Still Interesting to Visit Aug 21, 2016
The Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum is just a replica of was once a Sultanate Palace but now turned into a museum. The building itself is an attraction. The wooden structure displays the memorabilia that depict Melaka’s historic past. A nice visit to the palace let you feel Sultan’s way of life and his governance then. The displays include (among others) life size characters, different types of clothes, jewelry, photographs, musical instruments and weapons way back then. All of these are displayed in different galleries on a three storey building.

Surrounding this magnificent structure is a garden with beautiful landscape, a nice place to stay, very relaxing, and worth looking at. As to why it is called Forbidden Garden, then that’s one thing I can’t tell. The admission price is worthless when compared to the information you've got.

I wonder if only the Sultan and those close to him could use the Forbidden Garden. Just a guess.
