Departed for home.
I didn't list every place I visited in Israel. That would be to hard to
remember every one, plus dates.
40 days allowed for allot of traveling. I
will however mention a few key places I got to go to; Jerusalem, the
Sea of Galilee, Masada, Tel Aviv, Jappa, the Dead Sea and of course,
many evenings in Ashdod.

So, my army service started in the 14th of December 2004, It was one of the coldest winters Israel has seen in 20 years.
I came to the drafting unit accompanied by my parents, sister and my boyfriend at the time, I said goodbye and they took us on a bus to another section of the base to get uniforms, vaccines and all necessary equipment to start our two years in the service.
I was one of the unlucky ones who had to do kitchen duty while waiting for everybody to finish the process and to be…

So im attempting a travel blog again...after my troubles that came as a result of doing it last summer. Hopefully it won't be visible this time to a future employer when googling my name :) So i got to Israel Monday at like 4 am. The flight was whatever....always a little bit of drama. The flight was overbooked and they offered me 700 euros to take it the next day. Im kind of still wondering why i didn't do it! But alas its all good. I slept a lot on the pl…

After a little drama with airport security we boarded the bus for Netanya, where we'd spend our first night in Israel. Tomorrow we head to Caesarea, Muhraqa, Nazareth, Mt. Tabor & Mt. Arbel.

For three weeks from May to June of 2006 I had the time of my life as I traveled all around Israel with my "History and Geography of Biblical Lands" group through JUC (Jerusalem University College) on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. I loved every minute that I was in Israel. It is amazing to see the places where the Biblical events took place. Some may say it's simply rocks, but to me the archaeological sites mean so much more.
Jerusalem has won my heart forever!
Can't wait to return

Visited Israel 2 times this year to help film some investigative work being done in Jerusalem. This is the best time of year to go! Everything is green! I'm used to the dry and hot summer months but wow talk about seeing green everywhere!
