In winter 2005/6 I was living outside in the Israeli desert, doing the logistics for hiking groups etc and when I come back to Israel at April 2007 I did a bit of the same but manly work as a guide taking people out for jeep trips...did got to spend a lot of time outside, but as it used to be my work, I end up not taking my camera with me for most of the times...sorry

Qiryat Ono, Israel -› Ziqim, Israel -› ...
Boot Camp Zikim is a few short miles from Gaza strip, so we used to wake up to the sound of helicopters and bombing.
I was lucky to have a friend in the commander faculty, so it wasn’t as scary to leave home for 3 weeks.
The next day they gave us M16 to carry around wherever we go; sleep, eat, shower and what not.
It was an adjustment we had to make, walking around with a spear leg J
During those 3 and a half weeks we did shooting ranges, gas mask orientation, first aid classes and a lo...
