The next day, we took a bus from Tiberius to a bus stop near the site known as Tel Megiddo.  Tel Megiddo, or Megiddo hill, is another important site in the bible, and is referenced many times.  When we arrived at the site, we were blown away by the size of the ruins on the site.  During the time of King Soloman, Megiddo was a very happening town with an impressive water system.  While none of the buildings are left standing, using your imagination and the layout of the rui...

For three weeks from May to June of 2006 I had the time of my life as I traveled all around Israel with my "History and Geography of Biblical Lands" group through JUC (Jerusalem University College) on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. I loved every minute that I was in Israel. It is amazing to see the places where the Biblical events took place. Some may say it's simply rocks, but to me the archaeological sites mean so much more. Jerusalem has won my heart forever! Can't wait to return
