If you ever get to Manaus you must do this full day trip up the Amazon. Apart from viewing the amazing Meeting of the Rivers you get to visit a traditional village and meet the children and their pet sloths and iguanas. You also get the opportunity of canoeing through a bit of the rainforest. A magical day we will never forget. Take a waterproof jacket with you and some insect repellent... you will probably need both!!
