awesome stay - great staff :) Jun 19, 2010
I stayed in a 6 bed mixed dorm with 3 other friends. it was the nicest room round with a little covered balcony and I loved it...some of my buddies thought it was a bit too noisy cause the window opens towards the street - I didnt mind it

I really enjoyed my stay there due to the great and very helpful staff and the kitchen with fridge and everything for public use. it was also sweet that they had 4 free computers with free i-net access and a movie/wii/play room.

the beds were okay (maybe a bit too short for tall people but its spain)

the location was nice

metrostation and supermarket right around the corner and 10-15 min walk to the ramblas

the security was amazing as they had 24h reception and keycards which you need to get to the floor where the rooms are and to the rom itself. free lockers for everyone and space underneath the bed which could be locked with you own lock

all in all a great stay and I would really recommend it :)

This hostel is pretty close to Barcelona Nord bus station. 24 hour check-in, which is always nice. It’s in walking distance from most of the Barcelona sights. The bed was fine, most of the people I met were pretty nice, staff included. The power to half of our room’s outlets would switch off after 11PM, something with the breaker tripping for some reason, the staff couldn’t figure out why. The bathrooms weren’t very nice, the floors were continually wet. The sinks and showers were on timers, so I had to keep re-activating the water every 15-20 seconds when I was showering. Lockers are in the room, you have to put in a Euro to lock it, but you get the coin back when you unlock it.

Not bad for the money, but not particularly good either. I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay there again, but I wouldn’t stay away from it either.
